Africa’s leading carrier, South African Airways (SAA), will be assisting in bringing a vast selection of exhibitors, visitors and hosted buyers from around the world to Africa’s largest inbound and outbound show, WTM® Africa, this week in Cape Town. WTM® Africa 2015 is the leading business-to-business exhibition on the continent and will be taking place at the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC) from April 15-17.

WTM Africa’s inaugural event in 2014 recorded remarkable results which saw approximately 4,000 industry professionals negotiate deals worth $314 million (£189 million). 2015’s exhibition is set to exceed expectations and surpass 2014’s statistics, making this premier showcase a worthwhile exhibition for all stakeholders.

“We welcome participants such as buyers, media and travel trade professionals from across the continent and worldwide to this premier event on the annual travel calendar. Partnering with WTM® Africa to drive tourism is particularly important during challenging economic times when we have to collectively do all we can to stimulate growth,” says Nico Bezuidenhout, SAA Acting Chief Executive Officer.

South African Airways (SAA) is the leading carrier in Africa, serving 57 destinations, in partnership with SA Express, SA Airlink and its low cost carrier, Mango, within South Africa and across the continent, and ten intercontinental routes from its Johannesburg hub. SAA is the winner of the 'Best Airline in Africa’ Award in the regional category for twelve consecutive years and the winner of ‘Service Excellence Africa’ for three years. Mango and SAA hold the number one and number two successive spots as South Africa’s most on - time airlines.

“As the African and international travel industry prepares to descend on Cape Town this week, WTM® Africa 2015 and our partners look forward to providing all stakeholders with an outstanding experience from start to finish. Together with SAA, the show will assist in further promoting Africa’s exceptional travel industry services” comments Sugen Pillay, Commercial Director for Thebe Reed Exhibitions.
