To promote Taiwan as the best destination for meeting and incentive travel, Taiwan Tourism Bureau once again organised a strong MICE team to participate in AIME in Melbourne, Australia, February 24-25,2015 with exhibitors including Taiwan Convention & Exhibition Association, Taiwan look DMC, W Taipei, and Kaohsiung City Government (Meeting & Event Promotion Office).

This year, Taiwan booth was enlarged from 27 sqm to 36 sqm in the Asian zone. The pre-scheduled appointment slots of Taiwan Tourism Bureau was almost 85% booked by AIME buyers,representing high interests ofAsia-Pacific buyers in Taiwan as their destination preference. During the 2-day show, hundreds of buyers, trade visitors, corporate buyers and media stopped by Taiwan booth and enjoy Taiwan’s lantern festivity atmosphere and business talks with our exhibitors.

In order to impress buyers with Taiwan’s seasonal uniqueness and culture,Taiwan Tourism Bureau selected traditional sky lanterns as the booth folklore spirit,along with warm decoration of sky lanterns,successfully catching visitors’ eyes. Buyers and visitors were quite curious about the adorable Sheep-shaped lanterns too and happily enjoyed the fun of lantern DIY at Taiwan pavilion.
