Showman’s Show 2014 set to deliver diverse line-up of exhibitors

With the Showman’s Show 2014 now just days away, organiser Lance Show & Publications Limited has announced that the Show is set to deliver a diverse line up of exhibitors. More than 350 companies will be showcasing a broad range of products and services at Newbury Showground, this Wednesday 22nd October and Thursday 23rd October. The exhibitor line-up includes more than 100 first time exhibitors, numerous product launches, a brand new Acts & Attractions tent and a host of companies offering sustainable and technology solutions.

Companies exhibiting at the Show for the first time include Beetle Juice Cocktail Bars who own and run 10 vintage 'pop up' VWs; CNTNR Ltd who up-cycle and repurpose shipping containers into immersive environments; national equipment hirer GAP Group have chosen this year’s Show for the official launch of its brand new event services division; uTRAC, the online application for managing event personnel from recruitment to payment and Contemporary Event Structures who offer event management and temporary event structures.

The brand new Acts & Attractions tent has proved incredibly popular with entertainment providers, originally planned to hold 10 companies, such was the level of interest that it was extended to include 15. These include the Jez Avery Stunt Show, Eight Ray Music, The Sheep Show, Simply the Best Events, The Welsh Horse Yeomanry, Big Top Puppets, Circus Whiz, Ferret World, Gary Lee Entertainments, Vertical Trix, Hawkwalk, Joseph Peace Fire Stunt Spectacular, Titan the Robot, Joseph’s Amazing Camels and the Rockwood Dog Display Team.

In addition, sustainable innovations include JCB Power Products displaying the world’s first Inteli-Hybrid Generator and first time exhibitor Loowatt Ltd. will be bringing their waterless, chemical-free and odourless toilets. Firefly, the UK’s leading supplier of Hybrid Power Generators (HPGs) for the events sector, will also be exhibiting, the company recently announced that its Cygnus® HPG has saved over 1 million litres of diesel since its launch in April 2013.

Technology now plays an integral role in any event’s delivery and this year’s Showman’s Show reflects that. Leading event technology and wireless solutions provider, Etherlive, will be offering visitors a view into ‘The Intelligent Event’ highlighting their CCTV, Wi-Fi networks, VoIP phones and RFID systems. Cerberus Satellite Services, providers of event Wi-Fi, will be demonstrating their fast broadband service for a variety of festivals and events. Ticketscript will be launching Ticketscript box office, Europe’s first on-the-door sales app, complete with a full package of payment and ticket issuing equipment. In addition, new cloud based rental management system, Current RMS, is already setting standards in the rental software market and visitors will be able to see it first-hand.

“The variety of exhibitors at this year’s Show is extremely pleasing. From practical and functional industry staples, sustainable solutions and technology to product launches and exciting innovations and entertainment, there is something at the Show for anyone involved in organising events,” said show organiser, Jeremy Lance.
