AECC says ‘I do’ to three-year deal with Your Wedding Exhibition

Your Wedding Exhibition
The North-east’s biggest wedding exhibition has tied the knot on a three-year deal with the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC). Your Wedding Exhibition (YWE) will once again return to AECC on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January.
Now in its 20th year, the exhibition was first staged at the Beach Ballroom before moving to the AECC and has called the venue home for the past nine years.

During its time at the AECC, YWE has welcomed around 30,000 visitors and more than 1,700 exhibitors and this year’s event will be the biggest yet in terms of floor space with a sold-out list of vendors covering 16,500sq m of the GE Oil & Gas Arena.

Brian Rae, director at Your Wedding Exhibition, said: “We are delighted to be returning to the venue over the next three years.

“Each year we welcome thousands of visitors looking for ideas and inspiration for their big day and we are extremely proud to be able to be a part of making the most important day of their lives that extra bit magical.

“All 222 exhibitor spaces are now all fully booked, so we are sure there will be something for everyone at next year’s event – as well as some added surprises thrown in as well.”

Some of the highlights of the event will be a catwalk fashion show, highlighting the latest bridal wear, as well as kilts, mother-of-the-bride outfits, hair and make-up and a display of wedding vehicles – ranging from luxury cars to classic camper vans.

Anna Mackenzie, senior sales manager at the AECC, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Your Wedding Exhibition over the past nine years.

“We are glad that the YWE team have enjoyed their time at AECC as much as we have enjoyed hosting them and we are thrilled they have extended their agreement which will allow us to continue building our relationship over the next three years.”
