Industry peers from across the whole of Scotland gathered in the majestic Burgh Courtroom at the five-star attraction for an evening of networking and canapés.
Attendees included guests from VisitScotland, Historic Scotland and tour operators and venues from across the country alongside the chairman of UKinbound, Mark McVay who opened the evening with some warm words of welcome.
“UKinbound is delighted to have been able to host one of its regular networking events together with The Real Mary King's Close.” Andrew Macnair, Business Development Manager for Scotland comments. “As well as providing a café and retail space during the day time for visitors to the attraction, these new facilities also have massive potential as an exciting and quite unique venue space right in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town. We are sure this will rapidly become a very popular venue choice for corporate events.”
This year has seen the completion of a £500,000 redevelopment project at the attraction which included the reinstatement of doors on the Royal Mile, the creation of a new entrance and exhibition space and the installation of an indoor 40-seat café.
