Five star boutique hotel, The Glasshouse Edinburgh, provided the luxurious and contemporary setting for the second networking event of 2015. The evening, hosted by venue finding agency Conference Care, brought together PAs from in and around Edinburgh with a wide range of new businesses and sectors attending for the first time.
Conference Care has supported The Edinburgh PA Networking group since its inception in 2014, and has been instrumental in delivering the events: sourcing venues, handling online registration and providing event management support, ensuring each one is a resounding success. As the group has developed, PAs have not only benefitted from exclusive networking opportunities, but also added valuable skills to their professional portfolio.
Speakers on the night included Lindsey Boxall, Eden Scott on how to assess what more you can do to support your manager besides just asking, Cordelia Ditton, voicebusiness who delivered a fun and interactive session on how to make the most of networking opportunities and April Spallin, Russell Investments, who shared top PA’s informative tips from her experience at the March 2015 Executive Secretary Live Conference.
‘The speakers were informative and engaging; it was fantastic to see everyone putting their new networking skills into practice on the night – I can only see the network continuing to grow and develop’ said Conference Care’s New Business Manager – Scotland, Sean Henderson, ‘Conference Care value our partnership with the Edinburgh PA Networking Group and are delighted to be part of their ongoing success.’
