Comprising a mix of studios, family and two bedrooms, the new luxury apartments at a cost of £1.5 million by the award-winning Chris Stewart Group, have brought the total number up to 50, which will sleep up to 200 guests at 100% occupancy.
The apartments, set in the capital’s historic Old Town, contain double smoked French oak wooden flooring and Italian tiling, alongside the latest home entertainment system and a 24 hour concierge service, making it one of the most exclusive places to stay in Scotland.
Julie Grieve, CEO of Lateral City, said: “We have been delighted with guest feedback since we opened and it is great to add more of these individually unique apartments to our current stock to make us the largest five-star collection of serviced apartments in Edinburgh.
“Thanks to our guests, our occupancy levels have been consistently ahead of target and we often run at 100% occupancy over Edinburgh’s traditionally busy periods such as the Edinburgh Festival, Hogmanay and the Six Nations.”
Julie added: “Our guests tell us that our location, in the heart of the historic Old Town, with many of our apartments having views over Princes Street and beyond, coupled with our luxurious fit out, is why they keep coming back.
“Not to mention the dedicated team of discreet Concierge who are there to ensure guests make the very most of their stay. It really is an absolute pleasure to be involved in this award winning development and to bring a small part of Edinburgh’s history back into day to day use.”
The Old Town Chambers currently contains apartments comprising of studio, one, family, two and three bedrooms, as well as three stunning penthouses and a 15th century townhouse.
Unique features include original period wall paintings, exposed brick, through to bluetooth Bose sound systems, Smart TVs and a multi-zone heating system in every room. Entry is via a keypad for which every guest has a specific code. Prices range from £129 to £1200 per night.
