Its new lunch menu features starters of: soup of the day; seafood minestrone; bang bang fresh water prawns; BBQ sticky pork; The Beresford signature crab cake and beef Carpaccio.
Main courses include: tandoori marinated chicken; supreme of chicken; battered fish and chips; tomato and basil penne pasta; ground beef and cashew nut cannelloni; crisp confit duck leg and steak au poivre.
Its artisan pizza range includes: harissa spiced prawns; ham and Swiss cheese; chilli beef and pepperoni and pomadora pesto.
Desserts, meanwhile, include: lemoncello cheesecake; coconut crème brulee; chocolate and marshmallow brownie; seasonal fruit Pavlova; a triple selection of Costley’s ice cream; fresh fruit salad with cream and an artisan cheeseboard.
Margaret Johnston of The Beresford said: “Our new summer menu features a range of fresh, seasonal continental-style food with a distinct French/Mediterranean influence unavailable elsewhere in Ayrshire.
