After examining customer feedback from 360 venues and over 22,000 events, The Beardmore is one of only four venues in Scotland and 29 in the UK to have received this prestigious honour.
The market research agency BDRC Continental award the Gold Standard, to only those venues achieving a twelve-month Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +70 (scores range from -100 to +100). NPS is a progressive measure of customer service performance which acknowledges the power that excellent service has when it comes to driving positive word of mouth for a brand.
Gary Rice, Manager of the Beardmore Hotel, commented: “As a Scottish Conference Centre of Excellence, we pride ourselves on using a customer centred approach in all of our services and decision making processes. To once again receive the Gold Standard from VenueVerdict is absolutely fantastic, and demonstrates our strong commitment to quality in the hotel and conference sector.
“Our team work incredibly hard to make sure our service is consistently professional and personalised to meet the specific needs of every client. To receive such incredible feedback and secure a spot in the top 29 is extremely rewarding, and will only encourage us to continue to find new and innovative ways to enhance and enrich our customer experience.
“So far 2014 has already been a huge year for the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre and with so much on the horizon, we will continue to evolve and meet the challenges which lie ahead.”
James Bland, Client Services Director at BDRC Continental, is responsible for the programme. Congratulating the Beardmore on its achievement, James said: “The Beardmore should be very proud to have once again achieved this accolade, and in only the first quarter of the year. Our criteria for achieving the Gold Standard Accreditation is rigorous, and requires the hotel to meet a very specialist and varied targets, demonstrating months of consistently excellent hospitality for clients and event hosts.”
The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre is a Conference Centre of Excellence and four star hotel with a strong track record of awards; last year attaining the Gold Award for Green Tourism for the third time in a row, and being named the Top Eco Hotel in Scotland at the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards in London.
