Keynote speaker at the conference and industry networking event is legendary music promoter Harvey Goldsmith while EICC joins Cirque du Soleil, The National Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall and Taiwan’s Wei-Wu-Ying Centre, the largest theatre complex in Asia, on the speaker programme.
EICC’s new Lennox Suite features the world’s first hall-wide moving floor system delivering a range of venue set up’s in a fraction of the time required in conventional halls. The venue is ideal for presenting major artists in an intimate setting with a full performance stage and tiered banqueting for 750 people. Alternatively, a 1,400-seat arena or a 2,000-seat auditorium can be provisioned in a single day.
The new £30m venue opened in May with Mercury Music Prize nominee Laura Mvula who broke off from a 40-date tour to perform cabaret style before an invited audience. The same performance space, divided into three separate auditoria, was used throughout the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe, the world’s largest open arts festival.
