Rory joins the Nira group after four years as General Manager at The Chester Residence in Edinburgh, then overseeing the group as Head of Group Operations. During his career, Rory has worked for a number of leading international hotel groups. He gained eight years’ valuable experience working for Hilton Worldwide, prior to four-years as Food and Beverage Operations Manager for Apex Hotels.
Rory’s new role will be to manage the luxury 28-room Nira Caledonia, which blends Georgian period features and contemporary style. Commenting on his appointment, Rory said: “I am very excited to be joining Nira Hotels & Resorts. There already exists a young and enthusiastic team at Nira Caledonia, and I look forward to continuing to raise the hotel’s profile and delivering the best possible service to our guests.”

Nira Caledonia is also thrilled to welcome a new chef, Konstantin Hadamitzky, who will work alongside Head Chef David Scott in the hotel’s Blackwood’s Bar and Grill, which opened this January. Konstantin joins Nira Caledonia after developing his career at hotels across Germany and Scotland.
