Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor raises funds for Radio Lollipop

Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor Staff
Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor has made a fantastic donation of £1,457 to children’s charity, Radio Lollipop. The hotel has been working tirelessly to raise funds for the charity through a number of fundraising initiatives that has seen members of staff take part in sponsored walks across the Forth Road Bridge.

Radio Lollipop is an international organisation founded over 30 years ago. The service to children and young people is provided entirely by volunteers who have been specially selected and trained to make a child's stay in hospital more fun and less frightening. Radio Lollipop volunteers spend time with each and every child on the wards at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

The charity gives children the exciting opportunity to get involved with the radio station through presenting and requesting their favourite music, hosting activities and arranging competitions. Radio Lollipop ensures a more comfortable and fun stay for children in hospital. The charity also arranges and manages volunteers which spend time one to one with the children.

Radio Lollipop relies solely on volunteers and donations and Hilton Edinburgh Grosvenor’s generous contribution is sure to make a massive difference to the charity and the support of children in hospital.
