Aberdeen International Airport will bring along the latest addition to their fire vehicle fleet. The £700,000 Rosenbauer Panther was most recently seen as a star in the latest Transformers movie. The six-wheel drive vehicle carries 10,000 litres of water at speeds of up to 80mph and all the fire fighting equipment can be remotely controlled from within the fire-resistant cab.
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director commented: “We are delighted that Aberdeen International Airport is bringing along the Rosenbauer Panther to Wheels 2013 on Sunday. This impressive vehicle will provide a huge attraction to the public, drawing in interest from both adults and children.”
Wheels 2013 will take place on Sunday 21st April from 10am – 4pm at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Exhibitors will showcase an array of wheeled vehicles including motorbikes, cycles, cars, Segways and quads, providing demonstrations and trials. There will also be a dedicated display area where bikers will be able to park to show off their bikes to fellow enthusiasts.
