For more than three decades, Deep Offshore Technology (DOT) International has been showcasing pioneering technology that has been shaping the future of the deep and ultra-deepwater industry. DOT showcases the most innovative technologies in the deepwater oil and gas industry, and provides a forum to discuss the specific challenges associated with hostile and ultra deepwater environments.
The Conference, taking place on 14th – 16th October 2014, is organised by PennWell Corporation with more than 1,000 international delegates expected to attend. DOT attracts the key industry experts and decision makers from the major Exploration and Production companies and features an Exhibition alongside the Conference with around 50 industry exhibitors.
Each year deepwater management, engineering & technical professionals attend to source products and update their knowledge on key topics affecting the industry, and this year’s event (DOT 2013) will be held in Houston, Texas.
AnNicole Faeth, DOT’s Marketing Manager, said: “We look forward to holding DOT 2014 in Aberdeen. As an oil and gas hotspot with a strong industry ties, Aberdeen is a natural fit for this event.”
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director, commented: “We are delighted with this prestigious conference win for Aberdeen. With great relevance to the area’s energy industry, we are sure it will prove a successful location, bringing in many international visitors in addition to the local industry figures living and working in Aberdeen.”
