AECC to welcome Scotland’s Best Outdoors

Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are set to welcome the new ‘Scotland’s Best Outdoors Exhibition’ which will be coming to the AECC Arena on the weekend of 9th and 10th March 2013!

This inaugural exhibition is a celebration of all things great about the Scottish outdoors. From kite-surfing off the Aberdeen coast to fishing in the Spey, or even just making the most of the natural flora and fauna in your own back garden, this exhibition has something for everyone; extreme enthusiasts to families alike.

Special attractions will include a presentation from Cameron McNeish of BBC Scotland’s ‘The Adventure Show’, Highland Games competitors including the 16lb hammer World Record holder Bruce Aitken, as well as climbing walls, fly fishing demo, pony rides, battle re-enactments, bushcraft lectures and demonstrations plus other outdoor pursuits.

The exhibition is supported by, Original 106 and Raring2Go! Magazine.

Brian Horsburgh, AECC's Managing Director commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming Scotland’s Best Outdoors to the AECC Arena, it is wonderful to showcase the natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor pursuits available, quite literally, on our doorstep!  This event enhances a fantastic line-up throughout March, which also features performances from The Script, Olly Murs, the Harlem Globetrotters and Biffy Clyro.”
