This year sees the train head to Scandinavia on a new and exciting itinerary from Venice to Stockholm via Copenhagen and the restoration of two of the 17 iconic carriages, keeping the romance of train travel alive.

Extra Eurostar services to meet demand
Eurostar has reported a 6% surge in bookings over the February half term week, compared with the same UK half term holiday last year.Thousands of Brits are taking the opportunity to enjoy a Winter break, while the French national rugby team and its fans flock to London this weekend ahead of Saturday’s crucial England versus France Six Nations clash. Friday 22 February is set to be one of Eurostar’s busiest days so far this year, with over 25,000 passengers expected to travel on that day alone.

Eurostar reports a surge in bookings over Christmas and New Year as its first Swiss Alps Ski Service heads for the slopes
Eurostar, the high-speed passenger service between the UK and mainland Europe is set to carry tens of thousands of travellers from across the UK to France, Belgium and Switzerland over the festive period.From Friday 21 December to Thursday 3 January, Eurostar has seen a surge in bookings from the UK with over 160,000* passengers expected to travel for a winter getaway. Friday 21 and Saturday 22 December are the busiest days for departures as Eurostar’s French and Swiss ski services start their first services of the season.
