The world’s most iconic train announces journeys to Scandinavia in 2015

Venice Simplon-Orient-Express announces new ‘Nordic Adventures’ for June 2015. The stunning journeys visit three of Europe’s most fascinating cities: Venice, Copenhagen and Stockholm; sharing their waterside, canal-latticed characteristics in common and now linked by the legendary train. The four night, five day journeys depart from Venice to Stockholm on 1 June 2015 and Stockholm to Venice on 6 June 2015.

The route travels from Italy, through Austria and Germany with two nights’ in Copenhagen, Denmark before arriving into the Swedish Capital, Stockholm. The journey includes two days and one night travelling on board the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express where guests can expect to enjoy exceptional fine dining freshly prepared in the train’s kitchen and relaxing afternoons leading to lively evenings in the stylish piano bar. Two nights in Copenhagen at the Marriott Hotel, including sightseeing tours and a gala dinner at an exclusive venue before re-joining the train for an overnight journey to Stockholm.

Stockholm – Copenhagen – Venice – 4 nights, 5 days – 6 June 2015 from £4,500 per person
Departing Stockholm in the early evening for dinner and an overnight journey to Copenhagen where guests disembark for two nights at the Marriott Hotel with ample time to explore the city with a canal sight-seeing tour and exclusive dinner at a surprise venue. Re-joining Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for a two night journey to Venice.

Prices based on two sharing a double cabin and including all table d’hote meals; a guided city tour of Copenhagen, two nights stay at Marriott Copenhagen and a gala dinner in Copenhagen.
