Brad Weaber, CMP, named Executive Vice President of New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau

Stephen Perry, president and CEO of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau (NOCVB), announced today that Brad Weaber, CMP, a 25-year meeting industry veteran who has served as executive vice president of both SmithBucklin and Experient, will become the executive vice president (EVP) of the NOCVB. This is a newly created position, effective August 1, 2013.

AIME and CIBTM welcome new event director

Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has announced the appointment of Jacqui Timmins as the new Director for the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) and the China Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition (CIBTM).
Ms Timmins takes the reins from former Director of AIME, Sally de Swart, who has managed the event since 2011.
