Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay, Turkey has announced the appointment of Kai A. Winkler as the new General Manager of the hotel. Winkler, a German national, will be joining the team of the stylish and luxurious property at the beginning of September 2012, at the age of 35. Starting his career in hospitality at a young age, Winkler is a passionate Hotelier who will be bringing fresh and new ideas to the ultra-chic Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay.

Throughout his 17 year career, Kai A. Winkler has managed luxury five star hotels across Europe including properties in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Most recently, Winkler managed the five-star Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich, which is architecturally one of the most renowned hotels in Germany. Previous to this, he held positions like Food and Beverage Director at the iconic Sacher Hotel in Vienna, Resident Manager of Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof and a General Manager role at the Hotel Palace Praha in Prague.
