Paul joins Gidleigh Park from his previous role at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, where he was Operations Manager for nearly five years
In the hospitality industry since 1994, Paul has also held positions including Restaurant Manager at L’Ort0lan, as Diamond Club Restaurant Manager for Delaware North Companies and as Restaurant Manager at Le Manoir.
On his appointment, Paul commented, “I’m delighted to join Andrew Brownsword Hotels and the team at Gidleigh Park. With Michael Wignall attracting brilliant reviews for his new menus, I’m excited by the challenges and opportunities ahead to present Gidleigh Park to both new and existing clients. After a total of 12 years at Le Manoir, Gidleigh Park offers an opportunity for an exciting new chapter, which I’m delighted to embark upon”.
Paul joins Gidleigh Park as it celebrates this month after being named ‘Rural Hotel of the Year’ and overall ‘Hotel of the Year’ by readers of Food and Travel magazine. Voted for by readers, The Food and Travel Reader Awards 2016 were held at the prestigious Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall, London, on 12 September, honouring the best of the best in the worlds of food, drink and travel.
