Nicola Pearce and Sarah Ashmore will be responsible for growing APT’s agent relationships across their respective regions whilst also focusing on new account generation.
Their appointment comes after APT launched its most extensive Europe and Asia river programme for 2017 and the recent re-classification of its cruises into two categories: Luxury (5 star) cruises and Premium* (4 star) cruises.
The simplification helps agents find the best cruise to fit their customer’s needs. Both new starters will work alongside account manager for the north, Laura Dawson, and report directly into UK Sales & Commercial Manager, Angela Waite.
Pearce, who will oversee APT’s activities in the south west region, joins the team from Cruise & Maritime Voyages, where she worked as business development manager. Ashmore, meanwhile, was formerly agency sales manager for Cosmos Tours & Cruises and river cruise line Avalon Waterways and will focus on the south east region.
