Wylie, formerly an Events Coordinator for Centaur Media managing large scale award ceremonies across the publications portfolio including Marketing Week and The Lawyer, brings with her a wealth of experience.
Wylie’s involvement in the London Olympic 2012 Games, as an official Hospitality Ambassador for Hilton Worldwide has also given her insight into the logistics of large venue groups.
Following the launch of Street Feast’s corporate offering the events team have grown to three in a matter of months, with the spaces being booked by household brand names including Sky, The Guardian and Topshop. Wylie will support Howe and Alicia Sheppard who was appointed as Sales & Events Manager in May in continuing to grow the portfolio and offering to corporate bookers.
The pioneering Street Feast model takes underused and neglected spaces in London and turns them into vibrant street food spaces, hosting a line-up of superb street food traders and bars in all their venues. Over the past three years, Street Feast has created street food arenas in warehouses, former carparks and abandoned office blocks. Now, the company opens up these impressive spaces for shared bookings during weekend opening hours and exclusive venue hire during the week.
Wylie commented on her appointment, ‘‘I’m thrilled to have joined the Street Feast events team at such an exciting time. Their venues are some of the most unique in London, with such an eclectic group of traders available to create truly bespoke food and drink experiences for clients’’.
Howe added, ‘’As we continue to grow our venues it’s important that we invest in talent to support in our central event team. Olivia brings with her sales and operational knowledge that makes her a great asset to the Street Feast team’’.
