Charlotte has recently returned to the UK, having worked overseas for the past nine years in Australia, Singapore and New Zealand.
With her roots in event
management operations, Charlotte has held key sales and marketing roles for
Pacific World, Accor Hotels, Hong Kong Tourism Board and Crown Melbourne,
prior to setting up EWD, a MICE consultancy business, working with leading
event management agencies and suppliers globally.
A preview of the new micebook will be launched to the supplier community on Tuesday 9th August at the Andaz London. The site has been extensively redeveloped following months of industry consultations with buyers and suppliers. Primarily aimed as a time saving, inspirational hub to support the RFQ process, micebook 2.0 globally will be the go-to site for professional 21st century event planners.
Chetan says “Charlotte offers great credentials and has experience across several of our key sectors, meaning that she understands the challenges present and the opportunities available, both industry-wide and globally, to make micebook a success for all parties".
Charlotte says “I am very excited about joining the micebook team and the plans ahead. The market is crying out for micebook at this second stage of its development and the strong level of interest and support indicates we have a much needed online solution to support and inspire planners. I see it as a tool to bridge a gap between buyers and suppliers in a dynamic, online community with everyone’s interests at the heart of it”
micebook 2.0 has been designed from the ground floor taking on board feedback from the events community. It launches to users in November 2016.
Charlotte's appointment follows a talent recruitment drive taking the best professionals from the industry, including the appointment of Paul Evans of eveology and Sarah Threlfall of Sarah Threlfall Events.
