Goodwin joins the group from her role as national sales lead at Principal Hayley Group where she worked for more than three years. Prior to that Hayley led on business development at Lyndley Catering Group and was previously Director of Sales at Venue Options.
Goodwin and the Jockey Club Venues team, including Group Conference and Events Manager, Susie Bradshaw, will work to build relationships with key agencies and corporate clients, driving revenue and developing the sales portfolio and crucially, the brand presence within the meeting and events market.
Speaking of her appointment, Goodwin commented; “I am really excited to have joined The Jockey Club. The portfolio encompasses some of the best racecourses in the world with the first class meetings and events facilities to match.”

The Jockey Club has invested more than £250 million in its venues over the last decade, including most recently a stylish refurb at The Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket where its boardroom ‘The Committee Room’ has benefitted from new décor throughout and the addition of state of the art AV technology as well as sympathetic, adjustable lighting and heating options for delegates.
Goodwin will be attending The Meetings Show along with the Jockey Club Venues team on stand I509 from 14-16 June 2016.
