Sam Aziz appointed as general manager at Tylney Hall Hotel

Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, part of the Elite Hotel Group, has appointed Sam Aziz as general manager of the 112-bedroom luxury Hampshire hotel.
Sam joined the Elite Hotel Group at the start of May after 18 years working with Macdonald Hotels, most recently as general manager of Alveston Manor Hotel & Spa and the Swan’s Nest Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon.


Other previous management roles have included four years as general manager of The Bear Hotel in Woodstock, hotel manager at Frimley Hall in Camberley and operation managers at the Berystede in Ascot.

Sam’s appointment comes as Tylney Hall celebrates its 30th anniversary as a hotel. The mansion house had previously served as a First World War hospital, headquarters for Clan Line Steamers during the Second World War and as a school from 1948 until 1984.

Commenting on his appointment, Sam Aziz said: “The Elite Hotel Group has an excellent reputation for traditional service, focus on quality and genuine passion for improving the customer experience, so I am thrilled to be joining the team at Tylney Hall Hotel.

As the historic mansion house and exquisite gardens celebrate 30 years of achievements and success, I will be looking at how we can position ourselves for the next 20 years and maintain the first-class customer service and quality the hotel is known and loved for.”
