Prior to this, she was at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan, joining as part of the opening team.

Spanning a long career in luxury hospitality, Emanuela spent many years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, working internally at their properties in Tokyo, Japan and Penha Longa, Portugal, as well as domestically in Atlanta, Sarasota and New York City.

A native of Italy, Emanuela earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Hospitality and Business Management from Leeds Metropolitan University. She is fluent in Italian, Swedish, Spanish and French, and was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations (CIHLER).

"It is an honour to be a part of such an iconic property that is so beloved by our Bel-Air neighbours, world-class travellers, and generations of guests,” says Ms. Setterberg. “I look forward to joining the hotel's very special team of employees and becoming a part of this wonderful community,” she adds.

Hotel Bel-Air
Nestled within 12 lush garden acres in one of the world's most exclusive neighborhoods, the Forbes Five Star Hotel Bel-Air has been one of Hollywood's most beloved hideaways for three quarters of a century. After a thoughtful two year renovation in 2011, the iconic hotel reopened with a fresh redesign that celebrates a new generation of Bel-Air aesthetic and blends LA's indoor and outdoor lifestyle. With its lush gardens, winding foot paths, covered archways and beloved Swan Lake, its enchanting setting and Spanish Colonial architecture has remained unchanged.

Pink stucco buildings spread among the property house 103 guestrooms and suites, as well as new Canyon View accommodations.

Master chef Wolfgang Puck oversees the hotel's entire culinary operation, including Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air, the Bar and Lounge, in-room dining, and all functions and events.  The hotel's legendary oval-shaped pool and a Forbes Five Star Spa by La Prairie are also offered.
