Abhishek Shankar has joined the sales team at Café Royal and comes with a wealth of experience in the industry, having previously held both the positions of Sales Manager at Brown’s Hotel and Associate Manager of Travel Trade and Business Development at The Leading Hotels of the World.
Abhishek has also gained experience working abroad with De L’Europe Amsterdam Hotel, another member of The Leading Hotels of The World, and Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong.
Working with the sales team at Café Royal, Abhishek will have the responsibility of managing the Groups market in the UK, with his main focus being to maximise groups revenue from UK MICE agencies and DMC’s based in London. “I’m thrilled to have joined Café Royal: the establishment is today – and, since his 1865 opening, has always been – an exceptional meeting venue and landmark in London. I look forward to working with the sales team to drive more bookings and awareness of this wonderful hotel.”
