Frank Garcia

Fast growing congress organiser strengthens sales team

Kuoni Congress has announced the appointment of Frank Garcia as their new Sales Director. Frank will head up sales coordination across the division’s European units and be involved in outlining strategy and developing their current service portfolio. He’ll also be building and strengthening partnerships with European Associations and identifying business opportunities in the congress sector.

With 20 years in the industry, mainly focused on business development, Frank brings with him a wealth of congress experience, including his role as Head of Congress at CCIB (International Convention Centre of Barcelona) for the last nine years.

Frank comments: “I’m excited to start a new challenge with Kuoni Congress and look forward to working with the team to develop their already extensive partnerships. I’m fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on top quality service. And working in an environment where the only constant is change and with demanding client needs, it’s reassuring to know that I’m starting my next role for a company that’s set up to support and adapt to these needs, innovatively.”

Mads Salling, Head of Kuoni Congress said: “Frank’s experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Kuoni Congress family. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to being the leading company in our industry. Our new innovations and the increasing demand from our customers led us to look for an addition to our team who fits with our ethos of innovation and exceptional service – and we feel very fortunate to have found someone of Frank’s calibre. I’m confident that he will play a key role in building and developing new partnerships for us.”
