Windjammer Landing in St Lucia appoints industry veteran Scott Seger as new Director of Food and Beverage

Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in Saint Lucia has just appointed Scott Seger as the new Director of Food and Beverage. In this position, Seger will be responsible for all of the hotel’s food service operations including five on-site restaurants. He will oversee room service and play a key role in facilitating resort events, weddings and corporate meetings.

With an extensive background in hospitality, Seger brings more than 20 years of experience with some of the world’s finest hotels and resorts. Seger joins Windjammer Landing following his tenure with Hyatt Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida, where he served as Director of Food and Beverage from 2012. Prior to this, Seger was Director of Food and Beverage at several other well-known and high-end properties, including Haig Point Resort & Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Canyon Ranch Health Resort & Spa in Lenox, Massachusetts and the Renaissance Grand Beach Resort in St. Thomas.

“Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team, and we are pleased to have him lead our food and beverage operations to new levels,” said Mark Ozawa, Managing Director of Windjammer Landing, adding “We look forward to his new perspective and fresh ideas.”

With a proven track record of team management, organisational and coaching skills, Scott notes “I am looking forward to formulating a cohesive team that works together to seamlessly offer the best dining experience possible for all guests.”

Ranging from casual to elegant, the culinary choices at Windjammer Landing are accented with a bountiful menu of tropical cocktails and make dining a feast for all the senses. Local specialties and international cuisine are paramount at each of the resort’s five on-property restaurants – each offering a different menu and flare – including Dragonfly, Papa Don's, Embers, Upper Deck and Jammers.
