Joining the Elewana team based in Nairobi, James will lead the group’s sales and marketing activities and will play a pivotal role in delivering a number of key initiatives during 2016 and 2017. This includes initiatives aimed at providing enhanced solutions to Elewana’s trade partners across the globe and ensuring the group continues to deliver guest experiences of the highest level.
James, who is British, has a strong track record in the safari sector, having worked with some of the most respected safari brands including Singita Game Reserves and Four Seasons Safari Lodge, Serengeti. He joins Elewana from Tourvest in East Africa, where he held the positions of Joint CEO and Director of Sales & Marketing. His significant experience translates into an immense knowledge and understanding of East Africa – both as a key safari destination, and of the safari experience itself, ensuring that Elewana’s guest experience is consistent with the brand promise.
