Luxury London hotels welcome senior team members in Conference and Banqueting and Food and BeverageJumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has made a number of new appointments and promotions across the Conference and Banqueting and Food and Beverage teams at Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel in London.
Francisco De Lima joins Jumeirah Carlton Tower as Manager of The Rib Room. With over 14 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Francisco’s most recent role was Food and Beverage Manager at The Soho Hotel. Prior to this, he held various management positions with luxury hotels, bars and cruise companies, including Silversea Cruises, Criterion Restaurant, Caxton Grill & Bar at St. Ermin’s Hotel and the Conrad Dubai. In his new role, Francisco will oversee all aspects of The Rib Room restaurant and bar operations.
Shudhanshu Kaushik joins Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel as Food and Beverage Manager. In his new role, Shudhanshu will oversee the Lowndes Bar & Kitchen, seasonal summer Terrace and in-room dining operations. He joins Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel from The Royal Horseguards Hotel where he was Food and Beverage Operations Manager. Shudhanshu has extensive hospitality industry experience and also held various management positions in Food and Beverage and hotel operations at Accor, Best Western, DoubleTree by Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Julia Prodrick and Husna Mirza join Jumeirah as Director of Groups and Events Sales and Special Events Manager respectively for both Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel. Julia studied International Hospitality Management at the University of Surrey, before spending eight years at Hyatt, most recently as Events Sales Manager for Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. In her new role, she will oversee the five-person events sales and planning team managing all group and events bookings for the two properties. Bringing over three years’ hospitality experience to Jumeirah, Husna takes on a newly-created role within the team with a focus on weddings and social events.
With over 10 years’ service at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Robert Lyall returns to the Conference and Banqueting team after eight years as Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager in The Rib Room. In his new role as Conference and Banqueting Operations Director, Robert will manage a team of 40 full and part-time staff ensuring the smooth running of large-scale conferences, cocktail receptions, exhibitions, award dinners and weddings.
