Clare moves into her new role equipped with over seven years of knowledge and experience in the industry.
Before officially joining the Butlin’s events team at Bognor Regis, Clare worked as a Hotel Guest Services Advisor and Owners Events Coordinator for Bourne Leisure, one of the largest providers of holidays and holiday home ownerships in the UK. Clare’s role at Bourne Leisure involved the planning, marketing and execution of a varied calendar of events as well as addressing and catering to the needs of all guests. She also managed a team of eight vocalists and dancers. Clare’s organisation and determination meant that she was able to carry out these roles efficiently and effectively, key skills that she will be transferring to this new role.
As Conference & Events Coordinator, Clare will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients, discussing their requirements and objectives, and demonstrating how Butlin’s Conference & Events can bring their ideas to life, no matter how specific or unusual. As well as liaising with the clients, her role will also involve developing and sending proposals and contracts to local businesses and supporting their subsequent incoming enquiries.
The arrival of Clare Caswell as Conference & Events Coordinator is another appointment in a series as the Butlin’s Conference & Events team grows along with its success. Most recently the team have employed new Sales Executive, Melissa Fernandes, who is responsible for positioning Butlin’s as a trusted conference and events venue within the UK MICE market. Butlin’s Conference & Events has reported increased sales by 35% from January 2015 to date and has grown by a staggering 97% since re-entering the market three years ago. Recent high profile clients include global beauty brand, Elizabeth Arden, high-street favourite, New Look and world renowned automotive manufacturer, Rolls Royce.
