Roberts, who joins SACO this week, will play a key role in the further development of its corporate sales strategy as the business prepares for significant growth in 2016.
A sales and account management professional, Roberts has over 15 years’ experience delivering travel service and technology value to FTSE 100 companies.
His recent roles include Director of Multinational Sales EMEA and then Director of Sales UK & Ireland for American Express Global Business Travel and, prior to that, Global Business Development Leader for Hogg Robinson Group.
Roberts, who brings with him transferable skills in winning, implementing and managing high volume corporate programmes, will manage the London sales and account management team, boosting sales leadership in London, as well as focusing on the continued growth of SACO’s corporate client base.

Roberts’ appointment follows the recent announcement that SACO has strengthened its operations with the appointment of a team of specialist property development managers from Union Hanover.
In 2016 and 2017, SACO will be opening and operating a wide range of further properties in the UK and into Europe, taking its total number of operated apartments to over 1,600. As well Amsterdam, there will also be new properties in cities such as London, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dublin, with others to follow.
