New Executive Chef at Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa

Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca has announced the appointment of Javier Soriano as the hotel’s new Executive Chef.
Soriano will oversee the hotel’s two restaurants; Cap Roig and Es Fanals bringing his extensive expertise and passion for Mediterranean cuisine to Jumeirah Port Soller. 

Born in Madrid, Soriano trained in several Michelin-starred restaurants in Spain such as Koldo Royo, Xoriguer and the three-starred Zalacain. He has broad experience in the hotel industry having cooked for Marriott Son Antem and Hotel Ritz in Madrid, amongst others.

A renowned chef and gastronomic consultant, Soriano has been awarded with numerous accolades and recognitions - Winner of the first Spanish Championship for “Tapas & Pinchos” with the best Mediterranean tapas; he received recognition from the Mallorcan Restaurant Business Association for his valuable contribution to Balearic cuisine; and his book “Tapes y Broquetes de Mallorca” was nominated for the World Cook Book Championship.  

Soriano’s international experience and expertise in hospitality, combined with a clear Mediterranean influence, will ensure a memorable Mallorcan culinary experience for guests at Jumeirah Port Soller.
