As co-founder of the internationally-renowned The Three Chimneys on Skye, a multi-award-winning restaurant with rooms, Shirley brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Britannia, the UK’s No.1 Attraction (TripAdvisor 2014-15).
At the heart of The Royal Yacht Britannia’s success is providing the highest levels of customer service and hospitality, resulting in the 5 star attraction being Scotland’s Best Visitor Attraction for an incredible nine years’ running (VisitScotland). Based on these same core values, Shirley has successfully established an international reputation for The Three Chimneys, as a Gold 5-Star Restaurant with Rooms and holder of 3 AA Red Rosettes for food for 16 years. Many awards and accolades have been won over three decades, the latest being a coveted Michelin Star in September 2014.

Passionate about promoting and celebrating Scotland’s natural larder, as Ambassador for Food & Drink for the Highlands and Islands and Chair of the newly formed Scottish Food Commission, Shirley is leading the drive to position Scotland as a ‘Good Food Nation’.
