Christopher McAnany of AlliedPRA Washington, D.C. named Vice President

AlliedPRA, Inc., a leader in the destination management company (DMC) sector, announces Christopher McAnany has been named Vice President, Corporately-Owned Offices, overseeing sales and operations of the AlliedPRA Washington, D.C. and AlliedPRA South Florida locations, according to Marty Mullen, Senior Vice President – Corporately-Owned Offices, overseeing Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs and San Diego destinations.

As part of the senior management team, McAnany will be responsible for driving new business development, overseeing all operations and sales functions, as well as managing various sales and operations teams in two AlliedPRA destinations.

McAnany quickly moved up the ranks since joining AlliedPRA in 2014 as a National Sales Manager in the AlliedPRA Chicago office before relocating to Washington, D.C. to open the new location as Director of Sales. Wearing multiple hats, the team quickly enjoyed many successes in operating several high-profile programs within weeks of opening. He then was named to this new position to help carry over his prosperous run in driving sales for the east coast operations.

Since 2002, McAnany has been a driving force in the industry holding numerous management positions in various facets of the business, having served as the Director of Marketing and Production for MPE Event Productions, Director of Operations and General Manager for a hospitality supplier in Michigan, as well as regional sales for an international firm. Prior to joining AlliedPRA, McAnany was the Director of Sales for Exhibit Source in Illinois.

“We are thrilled to fill this new role with someone like Christopher who has a proven track record of success, drive and solid leadership,” shared Mullen. “Christopher is the perfect match for this position and has a strong commitment to the AlliedPRA brand. We wish him much success in his new role and support his efforts to grow and elevate our business in two key destinations.”
