Emily Collins joins the group as Event Executive. Emily will be responsible for operational support across all client events from initial co-ordination through to event delivery.
Bringing a great deal of live event experience with her, Emily moves from Coalition, one of Brighton’s largest live-music nightclubs as promotions and marketing manager, where she organised and promoted the in-house club night and live music events. Emily also brings with her large-scale organisational experience from her time working for The British Red Cross charity as an events assistant in their National Events team.
Also joining the team is Keziah Thomas, starting her one year internship programme, a BA (hons) undergraduate student studying Events Management at Bournemouth University. Keziah’s specialist subjects include Event Design and Performance and Event Leisure Innovation and she’s a keen landscape photographer.
This is the fourth year that Vivid has offered a year’s work placement to students from the International Events Management Degree. As part of the placement, Vivid offers a wide range of experiences across the business providing a salary and training as well as other employee benefits.
Company Director Rachel Hepburn says the internship placement offers benefits to the agency as well as the students: “It is a really wonderful opportunity to welcome two new members to the team who bring a variety of experience and skills into the mix. It also works out brilliantly for us to continue with the internship scheme where we are able to take on skilled interns who are engaged in the future of our industry and eager to learn.”
Vivid Event Group has grown by 421% in turnover over the last four years with delegate attendance up by 349%.
