One of the UK’s leading PR specialists, Juliet Simpson, Founder and Chairman of Stripe Communications has joined the board at Marketing Edinburgh, bringing a fresh, strategic communications approach and years of industry experience to the organisation.
Having founded Stripe Communications in 2006, Juliet became Chairman of the agency in March 2015. Her focus is now on the strategic direction and overarching management of the business. Stripe is the largest consumer PR agency in Scotland, working with the likes of John Lewis, A.G.Barr, Scottish Power, G&V Hotel and The Scottish Government. Over the years, Stripe has won over 40 awards for its work in consumer and brand communications, digital marketing and events.
Prior to starting up Stripe, Juliet spent four years in Sydney as Head of PR, Corporate Communications and Mass Market Campaigns for Vodafone Australia, where she was responsible for the strategy and delivery of company-wide communications, advertising and online consumer marketing campaigns. Previously, Juliet was a Director of Citigate Smarts where she started up and ran the Edinburgh PR division leading accounts that included ASDA, Boots, InverHouse Distillers and Scottish Rugby. Juliet has also held in-house roles with Allied Domecq, Telewest Communications and Simmonds Capital in Toronto and has a BA in Communication Studies from Queen Margaret University College.
