In her role overseeing the day-to-day running of the spa at the luxury country hotel, Emma will be responsible for maintaining treatment standards and therapist training, for product knowledge, and for guest services. Emma joins Swinton Park from the Avita Medi Spa in nearby Yarm, North Yorkshire.
Prior to this, Emma gained considerable experience in spas around the world, including at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, the Park Hyatt Tokyo, and on Royal Caribbean cruise ships, on which she worked around the Caribbean for nine years. Emma’s role at Swinton Park will continue with the launch of Swinton’s new Country Club and Spa in winter 2015/16.
Felicity Cunliffe-Lister, owner of Swinton Park, said: “Emma comes to us with a wealth of spa experience from home and abroad, and her natural enthusiasm and drive will be a great asset to our Spa team, both now and further down the road with the launch of Swinton Park’s new Country Club and Spa. We are thrilled to have Emma on board, and we look forward to her input in creating our wonderful new destination spa in the stunning Yorkshire countryside.”
