Joaquim brings with him 12 years of sales and marketing experience. As an accomplished salesperson, he will be responsible for selling La Manga Club’s five and four-star accommodation and its two dedicated meeting, banqueting and event spaces to the corporate and agency market. In addition to this he will further establish The Club as Spain’s first choice for the UK and Ireland’s meeting and event planners.
Joaquim Fernandes said, “My focus is very much sales and I’m very much looking forward to developing relationships with clients both old and new to La Manga Club. The Club already has an excellent reputation within the consumer market, and my objective is to widen its scope by encouraging corporates, agencies, associations and private meeting and event planners to use the facilities which include three championship golf courses, a 28-court tennis centre, eight grass sports pitches, 25m indoor swimming pool, 2,000m² spa, and more than 20 restaurants and bars.”
