Jade joins Fountain Court from Cameron House on Loch Lomond where she was the sales manager for the East of Scotland. She had also gained extensive experience in sales and events with Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Tourism from Edinburgh’s Queen Margaret University.
Fountain Court has reinforced its position as the leading serviced apartment provider in Scotland with the opening of a new property in Edinburgh last month, Royal Garden Apartments. Comprising of 30 spacious one and two bedroom apartments, the new property brings the total number of serviced apartments which Fountain Court is operating in Edinburgh to 210 (325 bedrooms) within seven properties, accounting for 20% of the city’s apartment sector. They also have a further new property of 20 apartments under development, scheduled to open in Thistle Street later in 2015.
Director of Fountain Court Apartments, John Neil, explained the significance of Jade’s role.
“The serviced apartment sector has expanded significantly over recent years and is one of the fastest growing areas in the UK hospitality industry, currently accounting for over 3% of hotel stock across the country and 7% in Edinburgh. Travellers are finding that apartments offer so much more in terms of space, flexibility and in many cases are more cost effective than a hotel room.
“On the back of this very positive long-term outlook for the serviced apartment sector, we are delighted to welcome Jade to the Fountain Court team at such an exciting time for our business.’
