Jody joins the team at the four star hotel nestled within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park with key responsibility to further drive growth in all areas of the business that includes 55 stylish bedrooms, the AA rosette Garden Restaurant and a luxurious spa.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, the 41 year-old brings a wealth of industry experience to Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Spa. He was most recently general manager of Ballathie House Hotel in Perthshire and of the Summer Isles Hotel at Achiltibuie by Ullapool. His commitment to delivering the highest standards of service has been recognized with a number of prestigious awards including 2013 Rising Star Hotelier and 2014 Hotel Manager of the Year at the Scottish Hotel Awards.
Reflecting on his appointment to a role previously held by Morag Stark (who recently left the group), Jody said: “I’m proud and excited to be part of the award winning Macdonald Hotels & Resorts.
