Wedding Co-ordinator appointed at Rum Warehouse, Liverpool

Sasha Parker
More than 100 newly engaged couples have signed up to have their special day at the region’s most sought-after venue.
Sasha Parker, has been announced as the very first dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator at the inspiring Rum Warehouse, on Stanley Dock, Liverpool.
Since her appointment Sasha has been inundated with couples who got engaged over the festive period, wanting to take their vows at the restored 1950’s warehouse set on a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is adjoined to the Titanic Hotel.

Sasha said: “We’ve had a great response to our wedding offer and it’s great to see so many couples want such different days - all as beautiful and spectacular as the others.  We’ve even had weddings booked two and even three years in advance!”

Sasha, originally from Holgate, York but now living in the city, worked in various roles including conference and events supervisor at a hotel whilst studying for a degree in Business Management at York College.

She said: “When I arrived at the hotel I was in awe of this grand building and I instantly knew I was about to be a part of something special.”

The Rum Warehouse will hold its first wedding in 2015, when it will be fully licensed by Liverpool City Council to hold wedding ceremonies, receptions and evening celebrations.

With natural daylight shining through the floor-to-ceiling windows, an outside terrace for reception drinks, hi-tech AV, three dedicated bars and full in-house catering services, the space can cater for all wedding essentials.

Sasha continued: “The Rum Warehouse is a blank canvas and my role is to offer a tailored service and guide couples through every small detail to make their day absolutely perfect. “Whether it is choosing between an evening buffet or theatrical hog roast, what photographer to use for shots on our Titanic replica staircase or even the colour of napkins we understand a wedding is more than just a day, it is a journey and we are with them every step of the way.”  Minimum numbers are required for weddings at The Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock, Liverpool.

The venue also provides rehearsal dinners, menu sampling and unique packages as well as pre or post wedding treatments at the luxurious T Spa, cocktail making for hens at the Rum Bar, breakfast the following day the Stanley Bar and Grill or and overnight stay for guests and the happy couple at the 153-bedroom hotel.

Sasha said: “I am excited for my journey ahead and with so much to offer I have no doubt The Rum Warehouse will be home to many, many weddings for years to come.”
