Redefine BDL Hotels appoints new Divisional Director

Redefine|BDL Hotels has appointed Joanne Taylor-Stagg to the role of Divisional Director.
Formerly the General Manager of Crowne Plaza London – Docklands, Joanne joined the Redefine|BDL Hotels team in 2011.
Joanne will now oversee operations across nine of the leading management company’s properties, including Crowne Plaza, DoubleTree by Hilton and Radisson Blu branded hotels, located throughout the UK.

Redefine|BDL Hotels recently added 22 hotels to its portfolio, making it Europe’s largest manager of IHG properties. With 6,000 new rooms now under Redefine|BDL Hotels’ remit, Joanne will help to spearhead and manage this operational growth within the company.  

Joanne – who took up the post in January– said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to head up a strongly performing division of the Redefine|BDL Hotels portfolio at what is a really exciting time for the company.  

“Having spent my career working to deliver results for all involved, whether my team, our guests, or our owners and investors  I am now looking forward to helping increase Redefine|BDL Hotels’ commitment to these goals at a divisional level, at a time of growth.”  

Joanne is currently studying for an Executive Masters in Hospitality and Tourism Leadership and is the Vice Chair of the  St Julian Scholars. During her time at Crowne Plaza London – Docklands, Joanne picked up a number of accolades including Exceptional People Hotel of the Year 2012 and Hotel of the Year 2012 and 2013 at the firm’s annual awards dinner.
