The move comes as part of a re-structure at the agency as it continues to strengthen its portfolio of integrated live event solutions, servicing B2B customers worldwide.
Moody joined the Group early in 2014 as Group Commercial Director when Mayridge acquired her company Blondefish, the RFID and event technology specialist, focusing on the brand to consumer world.
“The campaign approach we use for creating event solutions along with the integration of event technology into our proposition has resulted in us re-focusing and re-structuring the business so that we are best prepared to serve the needs of our clients” said David Freeman. “The appointment of Laura as Group MD makes total sense to help us realise our ambitions for the future growth of the company. She has a wealth of experience and credibility across the whole events industry and with her expertise in event technology brought to the Group through Blondefish, she is ideally placed to drive our future growth.”
David Freeman was MD for 12 years and will now be involved in other projects for the Group in his role as Chairman. Laura remains as Managing Director of Blondefish.
“I’m very excited about the future for the Mayridge Group as we continue to innovate and strengthen our portfolio of event services and client engagement solutions,” said Moody, “We have an exceptional team of talented individuals and I very much look forward to working with them on the future evolution of the business”.
