The group’s fundraising activity includes hosting a selection of charity events across all 26 of its hotels in the UK throughout the year for Breast Cancer Care – the only UK-wide specialist breast cancer support charity, with a collection of special events happening throughout October as part of The Big Pink.
Key fundraising for The Big Pink includes the Big Pink Bake Off, where hotel staff and the hotels’ local communities are invited to bake a locally inspired cake and donate £5 each per entry. The entries are then judged by a panel of cake enthusiasts, with a selection of prizes to be won, from a Champagne Afternoon Tea for third place, to a one night’s stay with dinner and breakfast, plus Champagne Afternoon Tea for the winner. Fizzy Start will run throughout October, which is a Prosecco promotion that offers two glasses of either Galanti Prosecco or Rose Spumante for £10, with a £1 donation made to BCC per purchase. There will also be Add A £1 running across all hotels where guests are asked to add a £1 donation to their bill on checkout; with proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care.

An estimated 691,000 people in the UK are currently living with a breast cancer diagnosis so there has never been such an urgent need for our support services.”
