The scheme will be the first of its kind in the serviced apartment sector, consistent with Marlin’s and Fountain Court’s focus on the development in employee engagement. Each company will reward their hardworking employees with a complimentary stay in the partner’s apartments along with the travel tickets to the city. A number of room nights will be granted to each operator to be used as a prize, affording both London and Edinburgh staff the opportunity to experience the partner city.
This initiative means that employees from both operators can get an insight into their partner’s operations from a guest perspective. This will provide opportunity for learning, developing and improving services to raise industry standards. Rewards will be given throughout the year at staff events, such as the company Christmas party. It is yet another way for both companies to demonstrate that their employees are placed central to their businesses.
Managing Director of Marlin Apartments, Susan Cully commented: “As staff engagement and employee welfare are top priorities for us both, this partnership scheme is a natural move forward, both for Marlin and for Fountain Court. “
“Employee satisfaction and engagement is pivotal to any company’s success, and we consistently look for new and innovative ways to reward our team for their commitment and dedication.” she continued.
Both companies accredit their success to the creative teams they employ and have been recognised as influencers and innovators within the industry. Whilst Marlin has been placed in The Caterers Top 30 Places to Work in Hospitality list for the second year running, Fountain Court has been nominated in the upcoming World Travel Awards 2016.
Director of Fountain Court Apartments, John Neil said: "The growth that Fountain Court has experienced over the past two decades is down to our passionate and determined team, who take the successes of the company to heart and strive for excellence in everything that they do.” “The purpose of this scheme is to give them another reward for this hard work. Our partnership with Marlin Apartments, who shares the same ethos, is of no doubt a progressive move for the industry.”
