Annual conference heralded as “best yet”The HBAA saw over 300 membership representatives attend its Annual Forum, last week at the newly refurbished Jurys Inn Hinckley Island in Leicestershire. The forum, which took place on July 7th and 8th provided two days of interactive and educational content, sharing industry trends and best practices for venues, serviced apartment providers and agency members..
This year’s key highlights included Chris Elmett from Crystal Interactive speaking about the evolution of meeting technology and Carolyn Pearson, CEO, Maiden Voyage leading a discussion on safety in conjunction with the Met Police. The forum also featured a panel discussion titled ‘Whose bed are you sleeping in?’ where experts examined the importance of hotel ownership in bedroom and brand choice.
Nestled in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, this year’s forum theme was “Basic to Basics”; something that Jurys Inn wholeheartedly embraces when it comes to providing quality customer service and superior product.
