Chateau Cordeillan-Bages introduces a new “Premium” category of accommodation

Chateau Cordeillan-Bages premium guestroom
Château Cordeillan-Bages, in Pauillac near Bordeaux, France introduces seven new rooms and a new “Premium” category of accommodation.
Resulting from a collaboration between the French architecture firm Idoine and interior designer from Milan, Anne-Monique Bonadéi, seven entirely renovated rooms offer a comfortable atmosphere with modern and pure lines, inspired by the elegance of materials: linen, leather, wood, blond stone, marble.

Custom-designed furnishings, plus designer lighting and chairs, add a contemporary mix and warm residential style to the interior.

The seven “Premium” rooms located on the second floor of this stately chartreuse overlook the pine and verbena gardens, in the heart of the vineyard. They retain their initial size of 32sqm, whilst offering a more spacious and bright living area.

Highlights include tailor-made carpentry in ECOCERT oak, with leather handles, which adorn the entire length of a wall. Italian fabrics from Dedar that dress up the headboard above the king-size bed, and a Priva-Lite on-demand switchable privacy glass wall that separates the bedroom from the bathroom.

Equipped with an XL walk-in shower, a marble bench and heated floor, the bathrooms are built in Moleanos stone. The architect uses the round and leather mirror by Jacques Adnet, circa 1950, and light fixtures from Danish Frandsen to style the space.

The new decoration blends perfectly with the interiors of this Relais & Chateaux, home to an impressive collection of contemporary artworks by renowned artists Pierre Alechinsky, Emilio Perez, Gerard Titus-Carmel, TAN Swie Hian or Antoni Tapies – just to name a few.

Room Rates for the new “Premium” category starting at €329 per room per night.
