Villa Spalletti Trivelli opens roman rooftop

An exclusive new roof terrace complete with jacuzzis and cocktails

This summer, the place to be is the new and exclusive rooftop of Rome’s beautiful boutique hotel Villa Spalletti Trivelli. An early 20th Century villa owned by an Italian aristocratic family, Villa Spalletti Trivelli is an intimate hideaway in the Eternal City with just 15 luxurious bedrooms and suites.

Located just moments from the Trevi Fountain, the hotel’s rooftop has undergone complete transformation and has opened this July giving guests of the luxury hotel a new sanctuary to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening.

Complete with comfy daybeds and billowing white linen curtains, shaded sofas and sun loungers, the rooftop bar and bubbling Jacuzzis will offer tranquil areas with wonderful views across the roofs of the Italian capital. After long mornings exploring the city’s sights, the terrace provides the perfect spot for an afternoon of rest and relaxation accompanied by soft, soothing music. Accommodating up to 60 people, the roof terrace is also available upon request for private hire meaning that guests could hold the ultimate Italian drinks party with sweeping views of Rome at sunset.

Food on the roof terrace draws heavily from local Italian tradition, offering a simple yet delicious selection of salads using the Spalletti Trivelli family’s organic Pomario olive oil, sandwiches using freshly baked bread, and homemade gelato. Meanwhile, guests are welcome to pour themselves a drink from the complimentary bar with a range of classic spirits, wines and Proseccos behind the bar to sip while enjoying the view.

The rooftop, Jacuzzis and cocktail bar are open from 11am – 11pm for guests of the hotel. Non-guests can access the rooftop bar for a €25 charge. Villa Spalletti Trivelli is a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Nightly rates start at €450 per night, based on two sharing a Double Room, including a delicious breakfast.
